Day 141-143 Crossing to Argentina

チリからヒッチハイクと自転車でアルゼンチンへ。快く乗せてくれた4WD集団のおっちゃんたち、ありがとう！水やパンをくれたり、メガネも直してくれた上に蛍光ベストももらったので安全だぜ！

I went from Chile to Argentina by hitchhiking and biking. Thanks for the 4WD group who kindly offered me a ride. They even gave me a yellow vest so I'm more secure now :)

 

そして国境を越えた最初の町、Jamaで泊まるところを探していたわたし。しかしテントもないし宿は高いしどうしようかとさまよっていたところ、フランス人チャリダーに遭遇。事情を話すと、ベッドがひとつ余ってるからと部屋をシェアさせてもらうことになりました。ホテルの部屋でパンをこねだしちゃうフランス人のHugoと相棒のポーランド人Robert。愉快なふたりのおかげで楽しい日を過ごしました。夕飯までごちそうになり、本当にありがとう！！

And when I arrived to Jama, the first town of Argentina, I was looking for a place to stay but had a hard time finding because I don't have a tent and the hostels were expensive. When I was wondering through the hostel, a man talked to me. He was also a cyclist from France, and he and his friend kindly invited me to their room because they had an extra bed. Hugo was making bread in the hotel bedroom and cooked amazing dinner. Thank you so much to Hugo and his friend Robert, I had such a great time!!

降りてきて一番最初に感動したのは木がある！ってこと。しばらく砂とトゲトゲの植物しか見てなかったからふつうの木に感動。

I was happy to see so many trees after all the sand and aggressive plants for a while.

そんなわけでアルゼンチンに突入しました。2週間農場に滞在しながら、畑仕事とスペイン語の勉強に勤しんでおり、ネット環境がなかったために更新が遅れ、ご心配をおかけしました。農場での素晴らしい日々についてはまた後日書きます。

So I'm in Argentina now. I was staying in a farm for two weeks to do farming and learn Spanish, so I didn't have any internet access. I'll write about the wonderful days in the farm later.
