Day 206-209 Coyhaique to Tranquillo
12/9 Fri
みんなに別れを告げてコジャイケを後にする。登りが多くてなかなか進まないが追い風なのが幸い。下りMax71km/hはおそらく過去最速。風は徐々に強くなり、最後の10kmは向い風かつ登りもきつい。スペイン人&コロンビア人カップルに会う。彼らも同じキャンプ場に向かっているようだ。キャンプ場に着くとドイツ人カップルがいた。その後も続々とチャリダーが集結し、気づけば8人。さすがチャリダー天国。
I left Coyhaique and headed forward. Many climbs but had luck with the wind until the last 10km, which turned into a terrible headwind. I met a Spanish and Colombian couple who were heading to the same campsite. I met the German couple again at the campsite. So many cyclists now.
みんなのごはんがおいしそうで、うらめしそうに見ていたらいろんな人が恵んでくれた。ありがとうございます。ゲリーはワインをくれた。寒いのでみんなさっさとテントに引きこもってしまった。
Everyone else's food looked so nice that I was staring at it, and they shared me some. Thank you :)
12/10 Sat
今日は風が強い。最初の数キロは下りで、そのあとは向い風&のぼり。そのあとも登りが続くかと思いきや、そこからセロカスティージョまで15kmはずっと下りで、途中からすばらしい絶景になり、終始ニヤニヤが止まらなかった。
Windy day. After few km down came a long uphill with headwind. But the last 15km was all the way down with a spectacular view.
キャンプ場に入るとちょうど3日間のマウンテンバイクのレースが行われているらしく、たくさんのレーサーが泊まっていた。
シャワーを浴びて洗濯をし、買い出しへ。調子に乗って買い込んでしまって重い。
ドライカレーを作り、ワインを飲みながら過ごす。

山が本当に美しい。セロカスティージョのトレッキングコースもとても美しく、しかも誰もいない穴場らしく、近い将来トーレスデルパイネのようになると言われているそうだ。オーストラリア人のカップルは4日間のトレッキングをしてきたそう。わたしも時間があれば行ってみたかったな。
Cerro Castillo is so beautiful. It's said to be the next Torres del Paine in few years, but now there aren't many tourists. The Australian couple did the 4day trek and said it was beautiful.
ゲリーがフライフィッシングを教えてくれるというのだけど、少し急がねば。あと10日あまりでオイギンスまでたどり着けるのだろうか。
Gary said he would teach us fly fishing but it's a pity that I'm in a hurry. I only have 10days to Villa O'higgins. I hope I can make it.
12/11 Sun
夜から降り出した雨は、朝になっても降ったり止んだり。虹がきれいだった。
it started raining from midnight but a beautiful rainbow came out.
昨日の遅れを取り戻そうと9時に出ると、ちょうどマウンテンバイクのレース開始時刻だったようで、大量のレーサーに追い抜かれてとてもこわかった。そしてまぬけなわたしは何も考えずにその大群について行ったところ、しばらくするとトラックが止まり、道を間違えていることを教えてくれた。早めに教えてもらってよかった。
i tried to leave early but it was just the time that the mountain bike race started,
and it was pretty scary that hundreds of mountain bikers passed by me.
i was thoughtless to follow them, which eventually guided me to the wrong direction. I'm glad that the truck driver told me or otherwise I wouldn't have noticed.

Laguna Verde!!
雨の中あまり進まず、36キロ地点でキャンプ。よく使われる野宿ポイントのようで焚き火場もあり、川の前のなかなかよいロケーション。おnewの30ドルテントが試される時が来た。
I couldn't go far with the rain, and ended up camping in the 36km point. It was a nice place with a fire pit in front of the river. Time to try the torrelance of my new 30 dollar tent.
ゲリーの他に北上しているイギリス人2人組もやってきた。マシュマロと焼きリンゴを作ってめちゃくちゃおいしかった。
I joined Gary and also two cyclists from England heading north.
we cooked apples and toasted
marshmallows.
雨の中のキャンプ。寒いけどたのしい。問題はただひとつ、ワインがない。。
its fun to camp even when it's rainy and cold, but only one thing missing... Wine...
12/12 Mon
次のトランキーロという町までは90km。砂利道なので１日で行くにはなかなかの距離。わたしは先を急いだ。
90km to the next town. I must hurry because it's quite a lot for gravel.
湖を眺めながらお昼ご飯。

あと50km。この調子ならなんとか今日中に着けるかも！と思った矢先、、
50km left to the town when something happened....
パンク修理をしてたらゲリーが追いついて修理を手伝ってくれた。彼も今日は調子がよいそうで、「ワインのためにがんばるしかねえ！」ということになった。
I was fixing my tire and Gary caught up with me and helped me fix it. He was also in good condition today and we decided to reach the town to have wine.

そしてトランキーロに到着したのは夜の8時。朝9時に出たので11時間。とっても疲れたのでこの日はコテージに泊まることに。
ビールとワインを買い込んで晩酌を。
We arrived to Tranquilo at 8pm. 11hours after I left. We were so tired that we decided to stay in a cabin.
treated ourselves with beer and wine.
寝室2つにプライベートのバストイレとキッチン、暖炉。なんという贅沢。しかも、な、なんとバスタブがあった！のでいつぶりかわからないお風呂！！に入り、幸せ気分でぬくぬくと眠りにつきました。
two bedrooms with private bathrooms and a kitchen, and a fireplace. And even a bathtub!! I was so happy to take a "bath" for the first time in months.
