今日も絶好の天気。
Beautiful!!
しばらく街はなくアップダウンの道が続く。13時頃にFlorenceという街で昼食。本場のSUBWAYはアメリカンサイズ！！
There were many hills on the way. No towns until we got to Florence at 1pm and ran into a SUBWAY. The real SUBWAY is American size!!
Janは先を急ぐので途中でお別れ。
Jan has to hurry so he went ahead of us.
ひざをけがしていたDaoも先に到着していた。しかも大量のチキンを持って。J.M. Honeymoon State Parkには砂丘がある。
Dao was already at the campsite. I was glad he made it because he was injured. He also had lots of chicken to feed us :)
There is a nice sand dune at J.M. Honeymoon State Park.
Sand boardという楽しげなものに乗っている人もいたが、我々は裸足で駆け下りてあそんだ。
料理する気力もなく、Daoのチキンを食べ、日が暮れる前に就寝。
We ran down the sand dunes.
I was too tired to cook, so I ate Dao's chicken and went to bed before the sunset.

今日で日本を発ってちょうど1カ月。まだ1カ月しか経っていないのが信じられないほど濃密な日々。
出発して5分後にいきなり雨。かなりの雨。近くに小屋があったので雨宿り。
After 5 minutes we left, it started to pour. We were lucky to find a hut to wait in.
結局1時間ほど待ったあと、再出発。
晴れてきたー
We waited for a hour and it became sunny!
海岸沿いを走っていた昨日と比べると景色はイマイチだが、その分見所もないので早く着いた。
It was faster than yesterday because there wasn't much to see.
本日はKOAというキャンプ場。売店の他、コインランドリーやキッチンもあり、とても充実した設備。夕食はひよこ豆と野菜のスープを作った。
We stayed at the KOA. The facility is great. They have a Kiosk, a coin laundry, and a kitchen. I made chic peas and veggie soup.
"ice cream social" というアイスクリーム&トッピング盛り放題なキケンなイベントに参加し、完全にカロリーオーバー。Lisaと明日からはビールかアイス、どっちかにしようと誓った。
"ice cream social" is a dangerous event that allows you to eat ice cream and toppings as much as you want.
We decided to have either beer OR ice cream from tomorrow...

Campsite ★★★☆☆ The site was just next to the play park, so it was pretty noisy. Motor bikes were also noisy.
Service ★★★★★ Free hot shower, coin laundry, kitchen, charging sites. The kiosk has everything you need.
